Bark: Gray-brown and smooth on young branches, becoming
slightly striped or fissured with age.
Flower: Fragrant, white, and arranged in loose clusters. Bloom
time is April and May.
Fruit: Fruits are red, 3/4 -1” long, double-winged samaras.
Foliage: 4” long serrated and broad-ovate. They have a fresh, bright green color though the early spring and summer turning red in the fall
